Clinical Expertise:
Dr. Husain is an Internal Medicine physician with over 10 years of experience interested in
preventive medicine, like Diabetes, Back pain, Hypertension, COPD, Heart Faliure,
comprehensive evaluation and care of acute and chronic illnesses, health education, and
clinical ethics.
He received his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery Degree from the University of
Dhaka, under Sir Salimullaha Medical College and Mitford Hospital. He pursued his Internal Medicine residency at University of Maryland, Prince George’s hospital center, Maryland. Hospital where he was involved in the education of residents and students.
He also has additional training and experience in teaching, he teaches foreign medical
graduates, medical students, PA Students, He is currently serving as an Associate Professor of Internal Medicine in Kansas City University and Biosciences.
Before joining Daffodil Primary Care LLC, Dr. Husain cared for patients at Gulf Coast Medical
center, Naples community Hospital in Naples, Florida. Dr. Husain is fluent in Bengali and grew up in a bilingual household, and he enjoys caring for patients from diverse backgrounds and experiences.
