Md Sayem Hossain, MD
My name is Md Sayem Hossain, and I hail from the vibrant city of Barisal, Bangladesh. My journey into the medical field began at Chittagong Medical College, where I embarked on my studies in 1995. This formative experience ignited my passion for medicine and set the foundation for my career in healthcare.
After completing my medical education in Bangladesh, I sought to further my expertise by pursuing residency in Internal Medicine. In 2017, from the University of Albert Einstein school of Medicine (Wakefield campus) Bronx, New York. This rigorous training challenged me and shaped me into a well-rounded physician, equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in the demanding field of medicine.
Professional Bio
Upon finishing my residency, I took on the role of a hospitalist at Lake City Medical Center in Florida, where I worked diligently from 2017 until 2020. This position allowed me to care for a diverse patient population and develop my clinical acumen in a fast-paced environment. I embraced the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on my patients’ lives, providing comprehensive care and support during their hospital stays.
In 2021, I transitioned to my current role as an attending physician at HCA Florida North Florida Hospital. Here, I have been fortunate to continue my journey of delivering high-quality patient care, mentoring medical students, and collaborating with an exceptional team of healthcare professionals. My commitment to my patients and their well-being remains at the forefront of my practice.
I am honored to have received the Great Doctor Recognition from HCA Florida North Florida Hospital in 2024. This acknowledgment reflects my dedication to excellence in patient care, and I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to contribute to the health and well-being of my community.
